April's Club Meet – Hosted by John

This month we had the pleasure of being hosted by John at his fantastic pond, and what a great morning it turned out to be. We had another excellent turnout from the club.

The Pond & Koi

John’s pond was looking superb, with clear water and a great collection of koi on display. There was plenty of time spent pond-side, discussing setups, filtration, and sharing ideas.

The koi were in excellent condition, with some real standouts that caught everyone’s attention. It’s always great to see different collections and hear the stories behind them.

As always, it was a great chance to catch up with members, talk all things koi, and share experiences. These meets are a brilliant way to learn from each other and enjoy the hobby together.

Club Raffle

We also held our club raffle, which was a great success. Members kindly brought along prizes, and tickets were sold on the day to raise funds for the club.

It added a great bit of fun to the meet and is something we’ll continue at future events.

A big thank you to John for hosting and to everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable morning.

Days like this are what the club is all about — good people, great ponds, and some truly stunning koi.

Our next meet will be hosted by Dan on Sunday May 10th — we hope to see you there!
